After the huge success of last year’s event, LexisNexis, a leading global content and technology solutions provider, will host the second Qatar Business Law Forum and Awards, on November 15, 2017.
The event in partnership with Qatar University College of Law, Qatar Foundation and the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) Middle East will take place at the Intercontinental, The Beach. The Qatar Business Law Forum and Awards is a unique event combining a law conference in the morning with an awards ceremony in the evening.
The Law Conference is specifically designed for the in-house counsel community and focuses on current “hot topics” in Qatar business law (Tax law, Arbitration, Cyber security, Economic free zones etc.). Lawyers from local and international law firms, professors and legal counsels constitute a highly qualified panel of experts. The event will celebrate the accomplishments of legal experts during the awards ceremony.
Twelve trophies will be awarded to both law firms and internal counsels that have excelled in their areas of expertise.
The awards are judged by an independent panel composed of industry leaders, academic practitioners and government officials. Nominations are assessed objectively using predefined criteria. Entries should be sent by October 22 to [email protected]
