Caterina Saile, JD, Honored by Marquis Who’s Who for Professional Excellence in Law

    LANGHORNE, PA, January 16, 2018 — Caterina Saile, JD, has been included in Marquis Who’s Who. As in all Marquis Who’s Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. A graduate of the University of Delaware, Ms. Saile received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Criminal Justice in 1999. She was a member of Alpha Chi Omega and volunteered for the Big Brother/Big Sister organization. Following graduation, Ms. Saile attended Widener University School of Law. While at Widener, she was selected as a member of the Moe Levine National Honor Society, a mock trial team. Ms. Saile was also chosen as a member of the Widener Law Review. After 3 years of dedicated hard work and passion, she earned her Juris Doctorate in 2003. She was admitted to and is currently a member of the Delaware, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania bars.

At the start of her career, Ms. Saile was a practicing attorney for the Lyons Law Firm in Wilmington, Delaware. While at the Lyons Law Firm, she handled personal injury and criminal matters. Ms. Saile was soon appointed as a conflict attorney for juveniles charged with criminal offenses in the Family Court for the State of Delaware. In 2005, Ms. Saile joined the Delaware Department of Justice as a criminal prosecutor. During her 11-year tenure, she prosecuted thousands of cases while serving the citizens of Delaware. She personally conducted more than 60 jury trials including armed robbery, home invasion, attempted murder, R.I.C.O. and capital murder. In 2014, in recognition for the successful prosecution of a large-scale heroin distribution ring, Ms. Saile received an award from the Colonel of the Delaware State Police.

During her final years with the Department of Justice, Ms. Saile held a management role, and in 2016 was appointed head of the newly formed Violent Criminal Enterprises Unit. Created to oversee the prosecution of wiretap, organized crime, gang, and felony drug cases, the unit was specifically designed to facilitate the principals of intelligence driven prosecution, which includes intelligence gathering and sharing; strategic and focused prosecutions; and collaborative law enforcement efforts.

In 2017, Ms. Saile left the Delaware Department of Justice and joined the law firm of Saile & Saile, LLP. Saile & Saile was founded by her husband and her father-in-law. Ms. Saile continues to work as an entrepreneur and as a practicing partner at her firm. An esteemed lawyer and expert in criminal matters, Ms. Saile is a member of various legal organizations including the American Association for Justice, the National College for DUI Defense, and the Bucks County Bar Association.
