CPA Global announces new software release for law firms that will reduce risks and improve productivity

Inprotech 12.0 adds new features to offer smarter IP portfolio management

IP management and technology company CPA Global announces updates to its Inprotech software suite. Designed to enable law firms to do business more efficiently, Inprotech is a web-based IP management platform that centralises IP tasks and stakeholders into one interface.

The updated Inprotech 12.0 version enables law firms to deliver better IP insight for clients as well as improving efficiencies through technology that enhances the way law firms manage and grow their practice. The latest software provides a more efficient and intuitive web-based user experience. The release also introduces a workflow designer tool that streamlines how law firms set up workflow rules within the software.

Clarity and transparency over billable hours are enhanced with a new time gap analyser that helps lawyers ensure billings are accurately captured and speeds up the creation of invoices. A new event note commenting system improves collaboration within the software, enabling co-workers to pass instructions to one another and set reminders for key actions via “notes to self”.

Inprotech 12.0 provides accurate, reliable data to make informed decisions for law firms. The software benefits from CPA Global’s IP ONE DATA, powered by Innography which updates and verifies more than four million IP records each week. Inprotech will be one of the key tools within CPA Global’s IP Platform(TM) – new technology that enables law firms to increase efficiency in global collaboration and generate unique business insight from IP data. The IP Platform delivers a fully integrated technology platform for IP lawyers across all key tasks, driving accuracy, efficiency and improved insight from IP data.

“The latest release of Inprotech gives law firms access to industry leading technology that is simple to use,” says Toni Nijm, Chief Innovation & Technology Officer at CPA Global. “The technology fuels collaboration amongst teams to drive efficient working and deliver better client services.”

Inprotech also reduces risk to a firm through a newly introduced policing dashboard that delivers an overview of activities so that issues can be addressed before errors occur.

Inprotech 12.0 will also enable law firms to:

* Enhance alerting and reporting

* Increase search flexibility

* Improve data verification with IP ONE DATA

* Access our premier search software PatentScout(TM) directly from a case record in Inprotech

* E-file including the capability to submit transactions in new territories

Simon Webster, CEO at CPA Global, comments: “CPA Global was founded by law firms more than 45 years ago, which uniquely positions us to understand a firm’s needs and be their partner in growth. A huge proportion of legal professionals’ time is consumed by manual verification of data and cutting corners simply is not an option. We wanted to help law firms reduce risk and focus on billable tasks. Inprotech 12.0 will transform law firm processes and helps create the future of IP.”
