NYSE Governance Services and FTI Consulting Announce 17th Annual Corporate Law Firms Rankings

Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and Affiliates received the top ranking, a position it has held since the first survey in 2001. Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP and King & Spalding both made their debuts on the rankings this year.

Americas Best Corporate Law Firms reflects the views of nearly 500 participating directors and general counsel of publicly traded companies. Conducted from December 2016 to March 2017, the survey asks directors and general counsel of U.S. publicly traded companies to select the firms they would most like to represent them in a variety of corporate legal matters. The results are featured each year in the second quarter issue of Corporate Board Member magazine.

We at FTI Consulting applaud each and every one of the law firms recognized for the industry-leading service they provide, said Neal Hochberg, Global Leader of the Forensic & Litigation Consulting segment at FTI Consulting. Trusted legal counsel is crucial in todays complex business environment, and these firms are known for their dedication, commitment and hard work on behalf of clients.
