One of Nashville’s biggest law firms gets new managing shareholder

Baker Donelson Bearman Caldwell & Berkowitz, one of the biggest law firms in Nashville, has named a new managing shareholder for its local office.

Brigid Carpenter assumes the position from Scott Carey, who has led the Nashville office for eight years.

Carpenter, the first woman to lead the office, will continue her practice, which includes products liability defense, catastrophic personal injury defense and prosecution and defense of commercial disputes.

Carey will retun to full-time practice with Baker Donelson, focusing on complex commercial litigation and transportation while expanding his economic and public policy practice.
